You don’t have to be loud to be a rebel

Being calm doesn’t mean nothing happens

There’s a myth that to make change happen you have to be noticeably disruptive; that you have to shout louder or cause a scene.

Of course that can work sometimes but it’s a high risk strategy.

It isn’t a choice between letting the system grind you down or raging against the machine.

You can speak steadily and act calmly but still refuse what compromises your integrity.
