When you see the cost of something it’s easy to make a judgement on whether you can afford it right now.
Do I have enough money in the bank to buy this piece of software? Can I fit this training in the budget? Can I take the time to read that book?
But what’s less often considered is the cost of not doing it. The cost of staying as you are and keeping the sticking plaster or manual workaround in place. The cost of not developing that skill.
When you think of it like that, the “cost” becomes an investment and the status quo becomes the cost.
What have you not invested in because you saw it as a cost but has left you in the same -or worse - position?

P.S. If you’ve been thinking about making a change but thought the “cost” of coaching might be too much, you might be surprised at what that “investment” could do you for you.
