When everything needs responding to and dealing with it’s easy to get into a habit of reacting and, before you know it, you’ve drifted a little from where - and more importantly who - you wanted to be.
Sometimes we make a little time to think back and have a bit of a retrospective but it’s very easy to then get into the metaphorical self-flagellation which might be helpful…but equally might not.
Something else you might want to try is a Futurespective. I posted a (less than) two minute video on what it is, how to do it and why it might be useful. (It’s got a transcript and subtitles if you don’t want to make a noise)
Maybe you’ve got other ways of turning reactivity into proactivity; of stopping drifting and starting remembering…let me know what your go-to tactic is for that.

Oh…and I released a new book last week…but it will only be useful to you if you have difficult personalities to deal with at work.
