A lot of product managers are doing it wrong
It’s a tough gig for a people pleaser
Product management is a bad career choice If what you really want is approval.
Every meaningful decision disappoints someone.
Whether it’s your superuser because you’ve changed the workflow they are used to, Sally in sales because you’re not adding their feature request to the roadmap or maybe your boss’ boss because you called them on their interference with the team.

As a general rule if everyone leaves the room happy, nothing important was decided.
It’s a tough gig if everyone liking you is important to you.

I run Product Mastery Pathways and offer 121 Coaching to help.
